A conundrum hatched from the fertile mind of my child.

"What kind of monster is white and walks around?" asked the kid.

"Uhhh, I don't know," I said after a period of judicious consideration. "What kind of monster is white and walks around?"

"A sheep!" she said.

"Wha . . . ? Wait. A sheep isn't a monster!"

"No. I put that part in to fool you."

I made up my own joke as a kid which is sort of like this.

What is yellow and lies at the bottom of the ocean?

Sand!
